Free Birthday dessert

Than you for the free birthday dessert. It was difficult to use on liberty road in Baltimore county MD. I got moved all around the restaurant. Placed order in one place but had to eat in another. How about a free meal or salad you can eat at any table in the restaurant. I eat nearly every day in a Ruby Tuesday...usually at Snowden River Pkwy in Columbia MD.

Went to the Ruby Tuesday's in Columbia Tennessee. W have been in the past but not for a couple of years. The place in general was dirty and run down. The brown fake leather table clothes were worn and had holes in them. Service was very slow and although not busy it took forever for the food to come out and when it did it was cold. Salad bar was picked over and not all that fresh. And, it was EXPENSIVE. There were cleaning objects left in the front seating area along with dirty cleaning clothes for the tables. The waitress never came again after the food arrived except to bring the bill.

Worst Experience of Any Restaurant Ever

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Visited Ruby Tuesday #4902 (Alabaster, AL) on Saturday, July 22, 2017 @ 8:01 p.m. bought 2 meals "To Go" after leaving checked the bag to make sure the order was correct.

There were no biscuits in the bag. Went back to Ruby Tuesday to inquire about the biscuits. I was told that Ruby Tuesday does not carry biscuits any longer. If you pay $20.00 per meal, and you do not have any bread or biscuits, you need to reduce the price of your meals to $5.99, because you have lowered the standards of your establishment.

I have never heard of a restaurant who does not serve bread or biscuits. I ordered the Bourbon Salmon and asked that they put an extra bourbon sauce on the side. When I finally got home to eat, there was no bourbon sauce on the meal, only the bourbon sauce that was in a container. The meal comes with bourbon sauce on it and I wanted an extra sauce.

The salmon was very well overdone, as well as the asparagous was flimsy and mushy. Nonetheless, I have frequented Ruby Tuesday on many occassions in the past few years, however, I will not be going back to any of their establishments ever again. The waitress who brought my order out was rude and laughing, along with the manager. There was another customer there who was also complaining that there were no biscuits.

Ruby Tuesday needs to close their doors, because I, and apparently many others, think so because the parking lot was empty. Go Bankrupt and close your doors Ruby Tuesday, because your establishment has been crossed off my list.

Ruby Tuesday should have reduced the price of your order by $14.00, because there were no biscuits? Lol. Yeah right.

Very poor service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Tonight our family of five members, went to have dinner to Ruby Tuesday at Garden State Plaza, Paramus, NJ, at around 7:00 pm. When the host brought us to our table it had an area that was dirty, so I told him.

We asked for some drinks, and it took a really, really long time to bring them. My tea came later than the other drinks. My husband asked for a cup of Chardonney, but the waitress brought a red wine. My niece asked for a petit sirloin medium-rare, and they did it well done.

When the food finally came it was served very poorly. The pilaf rice was served by spoon, not the nice way it's usually served. We were atonished. There were not many costumers, so there were not any reason for these things to happen.

We have been going to that Ruby Tuesday for around thirty years, first when it was known as Tanglewood, and then when it changed name. We feel really disappointed.

When you asked for the correct wine and steak and a fork for the pilaf, what did the waitress say?

New things on this trip

Blue cheese salad dressing is bad real bad. No bread. What is up with that ? Disappointed Parmesan Chicken Pasta is gone. Liked that Fondue is only in Shrimp. Not good like Lobster. or Crab Love the teas with flavors Good service and atmosphere Salad bar is too hard to get stuff out of. Can not reach in back. Bowls are so small that when busy all is being done up there is running out or filling up a spot. Could be more productive Clean but was freezing. So much as to ruin the outing Have been going there for years. This is my first bad complaints as always a good experience Now favorites are missing to eat

Service Dog Issue. "AGAIN"

I contacted your corporate office a few weeks ago about a manager sending our waitress to our table to ask for documentation on my service Dog, our food had already been delivered, and we were trying to enjoy our meal. I always inform the staff that I have a Service Dog.

I explained to "Ebony", the manager, then called corporate the next day. You assured me that you would contact the managers and inform them of the Law. Well, it just happened again. 7:20 pm 8-9-2017.

As the waitress was seating us, a waiter, demanded that I show him a Service Dog ID. I continued to the table, sat down, and requested the manager and if necessary the Police. The manager, "Sierra", she was well informed, she apologized. I'm not trying to be a pain, I don't want anything free, I just don't want to be publicly insulted over having a service Dog.

Please contact me and assure me that you are on top of this.

Thank you. Robert Cole.

I'm sorry, but this 'service dog' thing is getting w-a-a-a-y out of hand. You should be required to at least prove it's not just your family pet.

I would not want to sit next to someone in a restaurant with a dog. Ridiculous!

Then rally to change the laws, if it means that much to you.

Guest

So, let me get this right, there is no such thing as being registered as a service dog? Anyone can say that whatever animal they happen to have is a service animal?

Do not get me wrong, I believe that people who truly need the animals should be allowed to take them with them where ever they go, as long as they are clean and well behaved and it does not pose a risk to other patrons. But I do believe they should be registered with some sort of ID, so people do not take advantage of it.

Your condition is your business, and no one has the right to ask you why you have a service animal, but I believe that establishments should be allowed to tell you no, we do not want animals in our business as it might upset our other patrons. After all you are not the only person there.

Then start advocating to change Federal laws, if you feel that way.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1365075

No law needed here. Just some common sense.

Ask your state or county for proof the dog is a service dog. I even bet the people who train these dogs provide some sort of certification - I mean training them wouldn't be free.

Hey I see able bodied people walking with a "SERVICE DOG" leash all the time in Walmart, young people in decent shape like they work out, with fair means to keep themselves looking clean and respectable. Not a stereotype, but you really have to wonder if they really "need" the service animal.

Wow what an ableist thing to say. Can you see when people have seizure disorder?

How about diabetes type one or two? Oh heart defects?

PTSD? If the dog is well behaved it's likely a service animal there to do an important job.

Waitress was great. Salad bar was good. 2 Chicken club sliders were pitiful.. the one tiny piece of chicken only covers 1/3 of the tiny bun was mosty breading on both . Waitress took care of it and removed sliders from bill. MANAGER was milling around behind the bar giving food away. 3 other tables in our section had bad food come out of the kitchen. Manager should have visited each of these tables, and been in the kitchen fixing the problem.

You're at a restaurant. Of course the wine is going to cost much more than it would cost if you bought it yourself and drank it home. You're the customer no waiter/ waitress looks forward to serving, huh?

Who goes to Ruby Tuesday for the wine anyway?

Ruby Tuesday - Worst Meal Ever Beautiful Presentation
Ruby Tuesday - Worst Meal Ever Beautiful Presentation - Image 2

My husband am I rarely go out to dinner we decided it would be nice to go on a date night and we had not been to Ruby Tuesday in a couple of years as my husband loves the burger and salad bar. The restraint was not busy and our server was friendly.

My husband ordered the double prime burger with a loaded baked potato, I ordered the grilled salmon with green beans and roasted cauliflower au gratin when the meal arrived it looked beautiful. My husband noticed the butter was not melting on this potato so when our server walked my we asked her to please bring a new potato as it was cold. she took the cold one and left the table my husband then went to tae a bit of his hamburger and it was also cold.

I ate a green bean and cold as swell and still crunchy, needless to sat the manager came to the table with a new potato which again was cold, needless to say we were very disappointed and did not want the food remade of microwaved the manager did not charge of for our food be did charge us for out 3 drinks which I thought was very rude and gave a business card for a free dessert, which will never be redeemed as this experience was very upsetting. We will never return and I highly will recommend to everyone boycott Ruby Tuesday as they do not take any pride in the food they serve.

Here's one for you. They have gone down hill.

And apparently now they are heading for the great chasm of no return. When I worked there a mere 10 years ago they didn't hire servers with visible tatoos.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1375385

How would a server having a tattoo affect the level of customer service they provide?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1375439

I bet it has something to do with not thinking about consequences or the future. One day that "hot" tattoo will be on her 60+ year old body and trust me it won't be "hot".
